This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how PrimeSource Brands and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may collect, use, and share your personal information in connection with the websites and platforms we own and operate that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Website”), and our related online and offline services, events, social media pages, and email and other electronic communications (collectively, and together with the Website, the “Services”), and the choices you have with respect to your personal information. The Company reserves the right, at any time, to modify this Privacy Policy. If we modify how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page. In some cases, we may notify you about an update by sending you an email, posting a notice about the update on the Services, or other means as may be required by applicable law. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Personal Information You Provide to Us. Personal information you provide to us through the Services or otherwise may include the following categories. We may also collect other personal information that is not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

  • Contact Information. If you choose to subscribe to our email, newsletter, or blog communications, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect your name and email address.
  • Dealer Account Information. As a registered dealer of the Company’s products, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, company name and information concerning your business, and your account login information (customer number and password).
  • Consumer Account Information. The Website may allow consumers to register for an online account (e.g., “Consumer Sample Account” or “My Ideas” account). We collect your name, email address, mailing address, account login information, and any information you store in your account. We also collect any preferences you set in your account and any marketing or communications preferences.
  • Community Member Information. The Website may offer online communities for design professionals, contractors, and architects (e.g., “The Top Knobs Design Board”). To apply for and participate in these communities, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, social media handles, company name, and other details about your business or profession.
  • Marketing Information. We collect any preferences you set in your account and any marketing or communications preferences, and details about how you engage with our communications.
  • Payment Information. We and our third-party payment processors collect the payment information you provide in your transactions with us, including credit card number, billing address, and other financial account details.
  • Product Warranty Information. We collect information submitted when registering your product for a warranty or processing your warranty claim, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and details about your purchase or service date.
  • Survey and Sweepstake Responses. We collect the information you provide in response to our surveys, questionnaires, or contests.
  • Customer Service Recordings. We will record your customer service calls for training and quality assurance purposes.
  • Communications. We collect the information associated with your requests or inquiries, including for support, assistance, quotes, or order information, and any feedback you provide when you communicate with us through a webform, email, or otherwise.

Unless we specifically request it, we ask that you not provide us with any sensitive personal information (e.g., information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background or trade union membership) on or through the Services, or otherwise to us.

Personal Information Automatically Collected. The Company, our service providers, and our advertising partners may automatically log information about you, your computer, or mobile device, and your activity over time on our Services and other sites and online services. Personal information that may be automatically collected includes:

  • Online Activity Information, such as the website you visited before browsing to the Services, pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.
  • Device Information, such as your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, wireless carrier, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique identifiers, and general location information such as city, state, or geographic area.

Like many online services, we use cookies and similar technologies to facilitate some of the automatic data collection described above, such as:

  • Session replay technologies, which are third-party software used to record a video replay of users’ interactions with the Website. The video replay may include users’ clicks, mouse movements, scrolls, mobile app touches, typing, and other activity taken during the session. We use these replays for research and development purposes, such as to help us troubleshoot problems with the Website, understand how users interact with and use the Website, and identify areas for improvement.

Personal Information Obtained from Third Parties. We may receive personal information from third parties, such as our dealers, service providers, advertising partners, data analytics partners, operating systems and platforms, social media platforms, event sponsors, publicly available sources, or data providers. We may merge or combine such personal information with the personal information we collect from you directly or automatically.

Referrals. Users of our Services may have the opportunity to refer colleagues and other contacts to us. Please do not provide us with someone’s contact information unless you have their permission to do so.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Company’s primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide the products and Services and to operate our business. We also use personal information for the purposes set forth below and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.

To Provide the Services. We may use personal information to provide our Services and operate our business. For example, we use personal information to:

  • process your transactions, including purchasing products and samples;
  • establish, manage, monitor, and maintain your account;
  • process your product for a warranty or process your warranty claim;
  • improve and personalize your experience on or with the Services;
  • verify your identity or determine your eligibility for offers and promotions;

Interest-Based Advertising. We work with third-party advertising companies and social media companies to help us advertise our business and to display ads for our products and services. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about you (including the online activity information and device information described above in the section called “Personal Information Automatically Collected”) over time across our Services and other websites and services or your interaction with our emails, and use that information to serve ads that they think will interest you. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or at the point of collection, we may share your personal information with the following entities or persons:

Related Companies. We may share your personal information with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and other related companies, for example, to fulfill your transaction or for marketing purposes.

Service Providers. We may share your personal information with third parties who perform services on our behalf that are necessary for the orderly operation of our business. For example, we work with service providers that help us perform website hosting, maintenance services, database management, analytics, fraud protection, marketing, rewards programs, customer relationship management, fulfillment, finances, and other purposes.

Sweepstakes and Joint Marketing Partners. The Website may also use Hotjar or a similar provider in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our services and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g., how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, and geographic location (country only). Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. Advertising Choices. The Company is based in the United States, and we have service providers in the United States and potentially other countries. In addition, we “sell” or “share” (and in the 12 months preceding the last updated date of this Privacy Policy have “sold” or “shared”) Internet or Network Activity and Contact Information to our Advertising Partners and Joint Marketing Partners to help us market or advertise to you and to measure activity on the Services as further described under the section titled “HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.” These disclosures are called “selling” or “sharing” under the CCPA because we are either disclosing your personal information in exchange for some sort of valuable consideration, or because such disclosure is for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising.   • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing. To opt-out your personal information from “selling” and “sharing” relating to the automatic collection of data on our Website by cookies and similar technologies, select the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of the Website and update your preferences, or broadcast the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Note that due to technological limitations, if you visit our Website from a different computer or device, or clear cookies on your browser that store your preferences, you will need to return to this screen to select your preferences and/or rebroadcast the GPC signal. Additionally, to opt-out of the “sale” of your information to joint marketing partners, we need to collect some identifying information. Please call or email us as provided above to opt-out of that “sale.”
    In addition, if you direct us not to sell/share your personal information, we will consider it a request pursuant to California’s “Shine the Light” law to stop sharing your personal information covered by that law with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

We reserve the right to confirm your California residence to process your requests and will need to confirm your identity to process your requests to exercise your right to know/access, delete, and correct. This is a security measure to, for example, help ensure we do not disclose information to a person who is not entitled to receive it. The identity verification process may vary depending on how you submit your request.

Consistent with California law, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you do so, we may require proof of your identification, the authorized agent’s proof of identification, and any other information that we may request in order to verify the request, including evidence of valid permission for the authorized agent to act on your behalf. We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to understand and respond to it.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to comply with your request if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests to know/access, delete, and correct within 45 days of your request. Occasionally it may take us longer than 45 days to respond, for instance if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you of the delay, and may continue to update you regarding the progress of our response.

California Notice of Financial Incentive. We may offer certain financial incentive programs that can result in different price or service levels, provided that such programs are reasonably related to the value of your personal information to us. For example, we may offer additional content to users who sign up for our mailing list, our community membership programs, or giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, or other similar promotional campaign.
